Most sites are best for tents, but RVs are also allowed at a few of them. If you are looking for a challenge, Blue Mound has 15.5 miles of off-road, single-track bike trails that vary in difficulty. There are two handicap-accessible sites, one cabin, and a lift to get persons with disabilities in and out of the swimming pool. A short drive west of Madison, this park is very handicap-friendly. SOUTHWEST Blue Mound State Park: Blue Mound, WIĪt an elevation of 1,719 feet, Blue Mound State Park offers amazing 360-degree views of Wisconsin.
